Users of the App who reside outside of the United States ("Non-Resident Users") understand and agree that, when using the App, some of their personal data will be transferred from their country of residence to the United States and stored on servers that are located in the United States.
Such Non-Resident Users understand, acknowledge and agree that the transfer, use and storage of their personal data to the United States may not enjoy the same level of data protection that is afforded under the privacy laws of the country in which they reside, e.g., the European Union General Data Protection Regulation.
By using the App, such Non-Resident Users explicitly consent to the transfer, use and storage of their personal data to the United States, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, they further agree to knowingly and voluntarily waive their right to the protections afforded by the privacy laws of the jurisdiction in which they reside.
Non-Resident Users further acknowledge, understand and agree that they may revoke or withdraw a previously provided consent and waiver at any time by contacting Meridian University at the following email address:
legalaffairs@meridianuniversity.edu. Any Non-Resident User who revokes or withdraws a previously given consent or waiver understands, acknowledges and agrees that revoking or withdrawing such consent or waiver will not affect the lawfulness of any transfer, use, storage or processing of their personal data that occurred prior to the revocation or withdrawal of such consent or waiver.
